While I'm a full-time retro, fighting game and TTRPG fanatic, I am also a full-time metal fanatic, especially that of black metal.

NMM axe very WIP, currently at the "bane of my existence" phase, after a few models of it, I imagine it upgrades to "not super fun but its okay" before finally becoming "this is pretty cool" and then to "second nature, pick and choose easily between NMM/metallic paints"

i think the accessibility features on bluesky are great but because i don't use the platform often, i always forget they're there. whenever i post my art, i post the same thing on all my socials at the same time, so it's a lot of copypasting.

oh my god, why did I decide to make this one axe on this one model NMM. I mean, I've been wanting to practice it, but I decided to do it on the same model where I decided to go with more volumetric highlighting rather than the ol' 'Eavy Metal style(I am using some washes but on the other metallics)

To touch on this myself: I've been with Tekken since the very first game. While my favorites remain DR and BR and the later ones(mostly halfway through 7 and later) the gameplay didn't quite gel with me anymore, the old games were always there and I've met tons of awesome folks due to Tekken.

I think this year's xmas cookies(probably gonna start making them in a week or so) will be some classic brown-butter choccy chip cookies and some other classic butter cookies.
minion and everyone likes both and the latter are fun to sprinkle with colored sugar and turn into Cthulhu heads and stuff

Polishing up the "Tied in Bronze Chains" devil(for some AD&D group to fight.)

MAN this year's festival choices are gonna be rough. I can't make Literally Every One(they are...pricey nowadays), but I think two could be in the cards.

We lost a legend today. Cary-Hiroyuki Tagawa played Shang Tsung in the 1995 Mortal Kombat film and sadly passed away at age 75. We had the privilege of his portrayal on the first MK film but also as an amazing voice actor in the Mortal Kombat 11 game.

We lost a legend today. Cary-Hiroyuki Tagawa played Shang Tsung in the 1995 Mortal Kombat film and sadly passed away at age 75. We had the privilege of his portrayal on the first MK film but also as an amazing voice actor in the Mortal Kombat 11 game.

The John Blanche Voodoo Shade was perfect for the "Tied in Bronze Chains" model. Brownish green. Also made a wash from the blighted green to bring out that shadow color, but its hard to see atm. Tomorrow and Saturday will be copious detailing and cleanup.

Whew, this "Tied in Bronze Chains" model might be my longest base coat ever. I started it last night and mostly just did That tonight. Usually by now I'm well into the highlight phase.
