never understood the confusion on why sonic uses a car in racing games if he's faster on foot... because that's not the type of race it is? why would you run in a footrace if you can go faster in a car? because it's a footrace and not a car race. it's not a hard concept to understand

got around to watching the first 2 episodes of YFNS, definitely better than i thought it would be. it feels a lot more mature and real than i expected, it's not afraid to have smaller character moments in between the spider-man stuff which i think was a problem with the last couple shows

like yeah, he's a fictional character... we know. i don't get the point of making it like a metanarrative/metacontextual thing. it's not actual lore and it makes no difference in the stories being told
