#14: Mario & Luigi Brothership

While I found the game enjoyable, it does have noticeable pacing issues that can get annoying, and dragged down the experience to a good degree.

That said, there is a very good M&L game at its core and I'm hopeful that lessons will be learned for the next game.

#12/#13: Another Code Recollection (Switch)

Two Memories: Found the story and puzzles good, but left wanting a bit more, even knowing it was a DS game at first.

R: The story was a lot more engaging. Nothing groundbreaking, but it was quite good.

Overall, I liked this version, barring a few quicks

While not my first time playing this game, this new version helps improve the frame-rate and makes what already a great game to play even better. And can't complain about more content on top of it.

Having gotten into Gold years ago, it was interesting to see where the series started from...

Overall my favourite. Can't exactly explain why I love it of course, but I was not prepared for the direction the story went. It's unlike anything I have experienced before.

[#8: No Sleep for Kaname Date (Switch 2)]

Couldn't hold off and got the mid-quel, just to be a different from most people.

While not the strongest case, it certainly has the funniest moments from the series and I couldn't stop laughing.

[#7: AI - The Somnium Files (Switch)]

After hearing so much about this from my friends, I finally dipped into this series. All I will say about this game is...

Kaname Date's a bitch and I want him dead (affectionate).

(On a serious note, it's worth experiencing.)

[#6: Deltarune Ch. 3 & 4 (Switch 2)]

Toby Fox dragged me into his wacky world years ago and I continue to not try to escape it. These 2 chapters were amazing, both in their own rights and together with the rest of the overall story. But I'm afraid of what chapter 5 will do. Very afraid...

Haven't updated the list in a while, but time to get back to it.

And prices people will not agree with, don't forget that.

Compared to season 1, this felt more focused and higher quality, but I still wouldn't recommend the anime overall as an alternative to the games, as I feel like it relies a bit on people having played the games.

But I'd say as a series fan, it is worth watching.

[#4: Ace Attorney (Season 1)]

Decided to watch this on a whim, as I was in the mood for a replay of the series.

Overall, I feel that this is more for the fans than newcomers and it's certainly not the most highest quality anime out there, but it was fun to watch this overall as a long time fan.

[#3: Professor Layton and the Lost Future (DS)]

Overall, I can say that I'm liking this series a lot for the puzzles and the vibes and this one ain't no different.

But... the story here... made some... choices...

Would still recommend it.

[#2: Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth (PS5)]

While I will say 7 has the better story, 8 has by far the better gameplay and I was enjoying myself so much whenever I was playing.

But what I love most is the dynamic between the party, and I only hope it gets better and better as the series continues.

Between the of the wall comedy, interesting character relationships and some great animation, I would say this show, flaws and all, hooked me very hard and I want more!!!

The day off never happen.

But... I feel confident that I could get more done next year. Between managing a good work/life balance and finding out A LOT about myself in the last few months, I'm in a much better headspace.

I've changed since starting this thread and I hope that my next one will reflect it.
