Many Muslims (not all, maybe not an overall majority, but many) follow the way of the Salaf, as in they follow Qur’aan and Sunnah upon the way of the first three generations of Muslims.
It's just a certain group who I won't name who want to monopolise "the way of the Salaf" for themselves.
