It took seeing adult bullies to understand that my childhood bullies didn’t even really want to hurt me, they just wanted to feel powerful and how I felt about it wasn’t even in the equation.
I can’t imagine someone not outgrowing that, but apparently it happens quite a lot!

Isn't it interesting that the most insecure, emotionally unintelligent, incurious, deeply disappointing, and pathetic men we have the displeasure of sharing this world with coincidentally tend to be the most wealthy.

Fascists blame scapegoats because being conscious of the problems the country makes itself goes against the exceptionalism taught to them that they have not questioned. It's projection on a national scale. It's lack of willingness to self reflect, and it inevitably will fail spectacularly.

I'm tired of the gaslighting and short sighted justifications of tariffs that cherry pick the only perceived good about tariff policy and completely forget the ways it truly fails as policy. It's not even conservative, the negative effects are being ignored because of cult of personality 🙄 😒

Philosophy tube really helped me think today. Trans people are so threatening to patriarchal Concepts because their existence questions the Shaky Ground those Concepts were built upon that harm everyone yet no one wants to accept

I'm angry we have to learn this lesson the hard way, a lesson with many many historical examples to learn from...and yet here we are and I'm seething at just how comically easy it was to see to those who understand history.

Our children deserve better than all this, all of us do of course but taking education away is cruel to those who should be learning to be actually leaders and researchers...it's comical just how duck tits bonkers cartoon villian evil this administration, party, and figureheads are.
