The yellow card that wasn’t (but should have been) and the ones that were (and should have been) ruined the game for me. You want to see these two fantastic teams going at it on equal terms and for several reasons including indiscipline we didn’t get that but them’s the breaks I guess…

These levers that Europe has available to it would dramatically damage the Russian economy to an extent that even China could not compensate for. It’s primarily a question of political will & how much cost Europe is prepared itself to bear.

Agreed. Trump has been clear from the start. His preferred geopolitical order is tough guy leaders each with their sphere of influence. He wants to withdraw the US from Europe and cede it all to his buddy Putin. High time we stepped up and decided our own future.
