"The Wedding Witch" by Erin Sterling.
⭐️⭐️⭐️
I love Sterling's other work (Ex Hex is an all-time fave romance) but this one just didn't hit with me. Wanted a little more slowburn development at the start. Felt too focused on the time travel plot than witchiness.

I wish that I loved this more. The concept and format are amazing but the story is character-driven w/ flat protags. "Snarky teenager" dialogue & writing...not for me.
Interesting worldbuilding. Won't finish the trilogy.

Just read the first chapter of "Blood Meridian" for our book club meeting tonight and wow... I've never read anything quite like it. A genuinely challenging read but already so much bizarre depth to the violence of the West. Super interesting & curious to know more about the Judge & Toadvine.

Just read the first chapter of "Blood Meridian" for our book club meeting tonight and wow... I've never read anything quite like it. A genuinely challenging read but already so much bizarre depth to the violence of the West. Super interesting & curious to know more about the Judge & Toadvine.
