VP of Comms @ Planned Parenthood Federation of America/ Action Fund; powerlifter-in-training; health care is two words and someone else's abortion is none of your business. These are just my opinions, man.
The people I knew in high school who liked/ loved the Beatles also liked/ loved The Rolling Stones, etc. They were def not into Nirvana or more modern alt music.

Weirdly there was a strong overlap with REM.

I want there to be more intentionality in our city’s growth. And morality. Let’s not build a cog in the plagiarism machine.

The city is so eager to be whatever it needs to be in order for a business to like us. It’s desperate and directionless.

WHY are we doing things before the “can we?”

“we’re able to support attracting a business that is truly the foundation of our region’s high-tech economy.”

We have heard this before. I want to see a plan that explains why having a data center attracts other businesses to the region. Show me a data center that has created a high tech economy.

“Economic development and repurposing surface parking lots continues to be a priority.”

Oh neat - so we can have a huge, windowless warehouse instead of a parking lot.

Green space, affordable housing, anything that can be used by the public? Nope. Warehouse.

The job creation?

“High tech jobs” is hand waving. Data centers require maintenance workers. Not highly specialized engineers.

This is why the Epstein files story does matter, beyond just Trump's involvement. This is why so many Silicon Valley billionaires went fascist. #MeToo instilled this fear that rich men may have to lose their boys club where women are objects for trade, instead of people.

Remember when Ruben Gallego preened around over his support for the Laken Riley Act, and pundits treated him as having the magic key to Dems' working class woes?

Well, Spanberger voted against it and erased GOP gains with working class, including among Latinos:
