I mean, it's not a hard concept. Pay your authors and artists what they are owed. Without them, you don't have a publishing press.

What #music do y’all listen to when #writing? I swing between a lot but if it’s not rock it’s usually electronic or electro swing. If anyone has recs or playlists they use to get in the zone please share!

#WIP of a #bookcover for one of my #scifi #robot stories. Do y’all prefer the lineless or the lined? I am so stuck in the detail portion of this I can’t tell what looks good anymore lol! #art #digitalart

Capturing meteors just before Dawn. An expected bonus after a night of shooting the Lyrids. To my naked eye, the earliest rays of sunlight were not visible. But my Nikon’s 10 sec exposure captured them nicely. Bonus, two meteors were in the shot. One small and sharp, the other larger and fuzzier.🔭📸

I've finalized the paperback cover for my debut fantasy novel "Eltaris", and I couldn't be happier with how it turned out!!

Thank you, Elisa Serio and Jake Clark, for helping me make such a beautiful cover! 🫶

“Prediction is the business of prophets, clairvoyants, and futurologists. It is not the business of novelists. A novelist's business is lying.” - Ursula K. Le Guin

The lies at the core of this invented world sure help me question and understand our own. Recommend.

Trying to round out my #TBR list. Anyone have any #scifi and/or #robot novels they can recommend? 👀 #bookrec

Ok I’m going to go to bed and in the morning either try to squeeze in writing about robots on a moon or my Angry Robot Story so we’ll see I suppose. Will read more of Martha Wells’s work on my 30 min lunch break.

I don’t know how to use hashtags unironically and at this point I think that’s the algorithm of the universe protecting y’all from my unfettered thoughts. If you find me you find me organically and when you need me or not at all 🦾

Little Mx Murderbot here would be a KILLER at water cooler gossip. If only they weren’t so awkward. And needed to drink water.

Any advice on making your own #bookcover? I’ve got a few covers in the works and idk how to tell when they actually look good or when I’ve just been working on them too long! I do all the art myself so I get too attached I fear. #indieauthor #indiewriter
