AI being able to help us with Target to Lead Identification is absolutely not an issue. You'd be hard pressed to find anybody in the industry opposed to that. But this is a completely different application to AI art and chatbots. Let's be serious here.
In Phase I medicine trials, AI-discovered molecules are more successful than historic industry averages. In software it can be very useful writing functions, creating unit tests and in general freeing up coders to focus on the more interesting work. There is a baby in that bath water.

I am about halfway through the book. There are some interesting concepts that it teases, but I don't know if they can be fully realised with how unconnected I am with the characters. I will do an in-depth review when I am done.
