… Kate, I hope this won’t ruin your opinion on your dogs’ affective licking. 😂

Thank you!! I will savor this mirace that probably won’t happen again lol.

Yep exactly! Maybe this will be clarified in the next episode or something. It’s a good concept, so I’ll give it a shot. (Though right now it’s kinda feeling too much like “welp, nothing we can do here, carry on.” I gotta be patient. 😂)

Yeah. I would be down for some of them being ok surrendering, but the uniformity of it was… off putting. It’s like those characters aren’t ppl who can each agree in their own way, they’re just caricatures. But maybe there’s a reason for this other than just bad writing (or worse).

It also kinda rubbed me the wrong way that everyone is a person of color except for one white american, and everyone is pro collectivism except for this one white american who somehow gets to lecture them despite being the minority. Kinda hard to believe that ratio. 😅 I liked the grave scene though!

You cannot run the basic infrastructures of a functioning society- healthcare to education-on systems that cut out human empathy & negotiation. So we have to reassert over and over again that the problems aren’t glitches or errors—even big ones. The problems are fundamental, systematic, endemic.

That makes me even more excited! It’s always so satisfying to see something you’ve thought of for years coming into fruition. Rooting for you and this story!
