In family news, my stepdaughter has bought the business that is the (former) Avenue 47 Cafe in Birkenhead!

She'll be turning it into a Korean street food shop - but first, there's a *lot* of work to do.

Who is this? Seen in the CarJam photo feed today.

Plate is fake by the way, BLH727 is registered to a 1994 RAV4 which this clearly is not.

Also been wrongly attributed to BLA727 (a 1995 Nissan Terrano) which this clearly isn't either.
Someone's image of a silver late-model car in a bike/bus lane with a giant poster of someone giving the camera the finger on it. The number plate BLH727 is older than the vehicle so likely fake.

Korea is good at this too (I mention it because I have personal experience of it). Daejeon, city of 1.5 million, situated a bit further from Seoul than Hamilton is from Auckland, doesn't even have its own airport. It doesn't need to - it has KTX.
1:15 travel at daytime intervals of 10-20 minutes.
Daejeon station concourse a large area with a lot of people walking around. - a digital clock hanging from the roof showing 10:19:06, some departure boards in the distance. KTX high speed train at a platform (in Seoul, not Daejeon, although the train in the picture is boarding for travel to Busan via Daejeon). A couple of people in the distance, the train doors are open.

He sent me these pics of our place - the deck you're looking under is the floor level of the top storey, to give you an idea about how the bottom story is half-underground. The other pic shows you the neighbourhood drainage problem mentioned earlier.
Looking under the deck, a work site for waterproofing repairs is flooded out with water quite high and work materials floating around. Our back lawn (oops, messy). Slopes up towards the right. A short retaining wall halfway up slitting two levels has a wall of water flowing over it, the ground is completely saturated with water.

Thanks. I've since found this pic on Google Maps of the Orakei Station T&Cs and no time limit is mentioned, and I'm pretty sure your points fit well within what this sign says "bona fide passenger" so yeah should probably be fine :)

Is it a legitimate use of a park and ride facility to travel down from Northland, park at Albany, leave the car several days while doing stuff around the city (getting around by PT), then collecting the car again on the way back north?

(I think yes, but interested to hear other takes)
