lol. It was super distracting and worrying when it *seemed* random — I eventually concluded it must be trying to be helpful. (it was not a lane departure warning or anything)

I rented a car this summer that binged randomly, I think to alert us of red light or speed cameras. imho that kind of warning should be illegal.
