Weimar Cinema from @matthiasellis.com starts next week. I’ve seen some of the early materials and this is going to be a tremendous experience.

Cheers to @silentfilmmusic.bsky.social! Really excited to dive into his book. After I finish mine, but having followed Ben’s career for the better part of a decade, and talking periodically, I can guarantee this is a must own.

Sharing some pictures from a B&N visit today. This is a newish store and they seem to be doing quite well. The bookshelf is where I expect my book to be. What was cool was how they divide the movies by boutique label.

Should I go for it?

People loved Anora from Cannes, in cinemas, and through Awards Season. The road may have been bumpy, but it doesn’t change that this is an historic awards run. Very happy for Sean, Mikey, and team! This may not have been everyone’s favorite, but it was indeed the best picture of the year.

Wow. Almost 48 hours away. We have a livestream on Thursday. Technically $39 away from this stretch goal, but we are counting it. A bonus is we're going to give free access to an A24 Online Class that will happen later this year to backers at $50 or higher.

If you haven't caught it, I had a great chat with @hwoodminotaur.bsky.social about Alex Garland for the A24 New Wave project, and we went down a lot of roads .. like Bergman for example. Loved this conversation!
