The Pegasus Radar shot is an interesting one because they reshot a new insert for it but ended up going back to the original in the final movie. Also, I included the Rapier damage screen as it's the original Rapier dash too... one of the few shots of it that made it into the movie

Did you know that Charlton Heston was offered the role of Tolwyn in Wing Commander 3? Neither did I! According to a CGW article from 1994 his agents were asking double what McDowell was going for. He'd have been roughly the same age as his role in True Lies... I can kinda see it

The pilot did get an action figure but it didn't include the reflective visor near as I can tell. Honestly this guy's breathing apparatus makes me think this is supposed to be a Kilrathi Marine as seen in the movie intro

This guy's the "radar tech" in the script. You don't even see him in the theatrical cut. Telep turns him into a tactical officer in the novel. I think they were overthinking it. A longer cut with flappy mouths would have had a bit of retro charm that would be more fondly remembered today
