One of my idols passed away on Wednesday. Jane Goodall was an amazing woman. She broke down so many barriers for women in natural sciences. Thank you for all you have done for us.

Reading this years mentors books for #PBRisingStars. Today was Debra Kempf Shumaker. Her books are lyrical which isn’t my style, but they are also informative which is.

My 6th grade daughter (they/them) wants dark fantasy romance. They have found: Starlight and the Shadows by Vera Winter, A Game Of Heart and Heists by Ruby Rose, and Hunt Me Darling by Maree Rose. All are very 18+. Is there anything like that in MG or YA? They want LGBTQ+.

I love today’s post for #Storystorm. I have always struggled with connecting with my characters. I am going to go back and rewrite some stories in first person. I really hope it helps me.
