Seems sorta like ddos mitigation didn't mitigate most of the ddos? Unsure how to deal with this kinda thing going forward, there is a vercel bot management challenge type thing, but I *hate* serving captchas to real users, so idk.

Interesting choice in the schema for nooki.me ! collectively owned things are hard to model in atproto, even without any notions of shared privacy. I think a pattern that might be useful over time is rich multi-user access controls to a given pds.

had to do some shenanigans to join some caps together, made it cost like 50% less but means i'm going to have to do some clipping and sanding perhaps?

Twitter obviously fumbled it, but I think atproto can become the superconducting infra for publishing things on the internet

This (unfortunately paywalled) stratechery article from 2022 makes an excellent pitch for ATProto

This from @outlier.nyc is the first of their shirts in a while to tempt me. love the flat look of the thing, esp w/ the lightness of linen, and the raw edges add a nice texture w/o being super noisy or messy

Insane that a consumer device company has LESS THAN two weeks of notice for everything shutting down. Shows just complete disdain for their user imo. Literally just a full brick it sounds like??

I was pretty happy w/ this set I had for a personal outliner I made ages ago, but it's very vim oriented.

Love this! And it feels v counter intuitive. Really interesting patterns become possible if you assume you only need to run them for "small" numbers of people.
