Here in California, battery storage can help when wind and solar stop producing electricity. But it only lasts a few hours before they get drained so we also need to supplement the energy from Nuclear, Gas, and Hydro. Here's a typical day usage.

They would since batteries will only last a few hours without being recharged. At that point here in California we use imported power from Gas, Nuclear, and Hydro to get us through the nights and rainy days.

Those already ran down during the recent rainstorms. So now what? You have to get electricity from other sources. Why does California have the highest prices in all 48 states?

That could be true. Here's the photo I saw in the NYT. Both did have flags but I'm not sure they are the same. Either way it's definitely a pickup truck with 2 US Flags on the back.
