Thank you! :) I love her, and her books, horror and fantasy romances, and kids stories are all very enjoyable. Can't say I love them all equally, but this last one is definitely at the top.

I remember those layers over layers of wallpaper. and the old newspapers underneath that served to help making wall more even and the wallpaper to sit better. And the glue - brewed at home from flour and water.
