Well, spent a joyful morning talking to Gaby Roslin on her podcast Reasons to be Joyful. What a bundle of energy and good cheer she is. Loved meeting her. Then onto Islington Waterstones to sign LOTS of copies of The List of Suspicious Things #booksky

I actually can’t believe this, but I’m ranked number 8 in the world, for book podcasts:
“This curated list celebrates the best in book-related podcasting, selected based on factors like social media influence, listener ratings, relevance, episode count, popularity & more.”
I’m absolutely thrilled!

Judging by some messages this has been repeated somewhere, which is nice cos it was fun to do. Hours spent happily petting a dog alongside Sandi Toksvig and Lulu while the crew set up, what a day. #AgathaChristie youtu.be/TnLbure-dnY?...

Thanks for speaking about actress Danielle Deadwyler's talent. Appreciated Deadwyler's performance as Mammie Till-Mobley in Till(2022). Look forward to watching her performance as Berniece in The Piano Lesson(2024). Christy described Berniece's importance as "voice of reason amid big personalities."

Thanks Christy for reviewing Sonic 3. Excited Keanu Reeves voices Shadow the Hedgehog in Sonic 3. I've seen Sonic 1 & 2. Favorite scene from either film is Rachel (played by Natasha Rothwell) driving golf cart onto her wedding dance floor in Sonic 2 😂. Hope Sonic 3 has comedic scene that can compete

Thanks Christy @christylemire.bsky.social & Alonso @aduralde.bsky.social for your film review. You had me w/ comparing The Brutalist(2024) to Citizen Kane(1941) & There Will Be Blood(2007). Christy describing the "grandiosity & darkness within the American dream" of The Brutalist gave me goosebumps.
