Reminder that a study on lizard saliva eventually led to the development of Ozempic so be real wary of the criticism of studies and funding that sounds non-sensical when presented with no context.

On neutrality

If you live on the moon and no one is trying to invade you, kill you and your family for the crime of existing, neutrality is fine.

If you’re 🇺🇦, facing russia’s relentless attempts at genocide, neutrality isn’t a policy choice—it’s a death sentence.

"Catch four planets — Venus, Saturn, Jupiter, and Mars — in the evening sky. With good binoculars, Uranus and Neptune also become visible.

It's not rare to have multiple planets in the sky at the same time, but it's uncommon for the four brightest to be so well-placed and accessible."

mama bug
Oak treehoppers have my whole heart. These photos show the difference in size between mamas and their offspring at varying instars. I love them so much. 💛 Mamas stay with their babies throughout their development, protecting them from predators like wasps. Unusual behavior for a bug.
