I've finally got around to curating a selection of films about the #climate crisis 🎥

There's lot of mediocre climate films out there, but for me these stand out head & shoulders above the rest 🎞️

They make excellent resources for classrooms, lecture halls, or community cinema's 🎬

The asylum hysteria is cruelty and racism. Whipped up by our disgusting political leaders (looking at you Keir) and our foul newspapers. Britain's shame!

If you value our natural world you need to know the threat it’s currently under: (I can hardly believe this is actually happening)
1. Because this issue is critical, but has received remarkably little coverage, here's a thread pulling out the key themes from my article yesterday, on the Planning and Infrastructure Bill, which puts decades of environmental protections to the torch. 🧵 www.theguardian.com/commentisfre...

This week's impressive Climate Change Committee report makes a rock solid case for net zero.

BUT it recommends a major program of new fossil fuel infrastructure—giving Big Oil exactly what it wants.

Why that’s a bad mistake, and what the alternative is. 🧵

1. Here are just a few of the ways in which Starmer’s Labour Party seems determined to alienate its voters and lose the next election. As they pile up, you have to keep pinching yourself and asking, “what the hell is it playing at?” 🧵
