My grandma looked for towels to take to the hospital for my grandpa. With one of them she found this receipt still. The towel once cost 10.25 East German Marks.

The former concentration camp where prisoners were forced to build bunkers for the production of airplanes is now part of the Welfen Base of the @dbwv.bsky.social. They maintain an exhibition in the one remaining bunker. Part of it is an artwork created by Gilly’s mom Yardana, inspired by a letter

I’ve spent the last few days traveling to, participating in, and returning home from the event marking the 80th anniversary of the liberation of the concentration camp Kaufering, part of the Dachau concentration camp network. I was invited by my friend @gillyarcht who took the photos.
