For context: The DPS has a subcommittee that has for years told the DPS committee to book only geographically central locations for conferences. It saves flight emissions and is more accessible physically and financially. So, where do they decide to book? Hawaii 🤦‍♀️

The Minor Planet Center confirmed it as a comet, and named it 3I/ATLAS after the survey telescope that found it. The orbit information will be refined as more observations are made in the next months.

The election result was a bliss to watch with the national political support taking a leap to the left. The far-right party lost about one half of their support, and the moderate right less but still lost mayorships in some cities. Hoping for this trend to hold until the parliamentary election. 💪🤞

Of course, you also have to be an adult (18 or older) and legally in the country. Nevertheless, it's a sign of good democracy to not restrict the municipal decision-making only to the citizens of the country when it concerns a larger number of people.
