Two gongmen have starred during this logo's lifespan. From 1944-1957, heavyweight boxer "Bombardier" Billy Wells was the gongman, and from 1957-1997, it was Olympic medalist wrestler Ken Richmond (both pictured below).

The jingle is actually called "Moog Statement 14" by Andy Clark and was also used in full by its home video division, as well as several other logos (which we might share here soon 🤠🥰)
