Why do I tell everyone to vote? Because you end up in situations like this. Where Katie Wilson and Bruce Harrell are within 100 votes of each other.
Reminder: Mandatory recounts are triggered if the gap is under 2000 votes. We're not done counting, but it's heading there.

This doesn't make sense -- we've been in the system integration phase for over a month. The light rail tests over the floating bridge so far have all counted.
Did he perhaps mean that we're CONCLUDING system integration and moving into pre revenue service?

Isn't it very telling that this map tracks 90% with the areas of Seattle that I've explored?

4 apartments planned, 4 apartment permits submitted. Corrections required but not much action recently.
12 buildings planned, but only these 4 have MUPs. Curious if the hotel is included in this 12 count and the MUP wasn't required or is not listed.

Gemini Pro seems to handle this accurately now... wonder if it learned, or I got lucky. No shot it can generate a picture. Gemini flash floundered massively.

I would look much further into reducing operator and fleet needs by splitting the spine further, like in this concept by @pushtheneedle.bsky.social .
This lets us reduce hours of service -- many unnecessary rides to Everett, Tacoma, etc. that are currently projected to receive 8 minute service.

The reason the South Lake Union Streetcar has such low ridership is because it has 0% on time performance.

Beyond the potential of a civic center redevelopment (which I expect to occur anyway), and that it's their "preferred" already, I don't see a compelling reason to opt for N-S at this stage, especially with them wanting to reduce costs and speed up timelines.

Right. That's June, slightly outdated.
I'd trust the recent board info (Q1) more than this.
But, their FTA service date max. is May 2026, and April still allows 1 mo. float, so it can be pushed.
AND this relies on Aug 9 system integration completion, which is currently pushed till Aug 18 earliest.

I think it's not! I had the same question about 2 weeks ago watching from golden gardens. I believe it's wind direction or a resurgence.

According to always-trustworthy reddit, supposedly Sound Transit's older kinkisharyo trains are being retrofitted with the siemens televic system 👀 (the screens that show the displays).
I bet they're hoping to get the retrofitting done before they open the 2 line next year

Random question. Any idea why we have these stupid requirements for onboarding?
I want to set up the beautiful Channels & Roles menu, which is quite well designed... but it has this unnecessary and arbitrary barrier. My server requires verification to see all the channels!
