Not to mention it's not like people aren't aware of their own limitations, if you need extra time to get a decent grade you're probably not going to use that grade to apply for highly time sensitive jobs because they're already very aware of their limits in a way test results couldn't reflect

Evaluating can still be useful, but as a way to know where to help them and find things that do suit their abilities and interests. But it's nothing like the black and white get good number be good worker crap from the screenshot

I do wonder if the adversarial nature of it makes it harder for parents to accept not getting a diagnosis. Having to put years of effort in is going to leave them heavily invested in the idea

Can't help but think if a sentence equal to a quarter of their time on this earth isn't changing their mind then they're probably just not expecting to get caught and being sentenced to hell itself wouldn't deter them
