So why is there a process to make sure people still need health insurance but not one to check if people are still capable of handling FIREARMS?

Have been purged from the Medicaid rolls after Texas went to a system that involves re-applying every year. Many of these people lost coverage in error - but we scream about “fraud” so loudly that the idea of someone getting healthcare fraudulently scares us more than someone going without 🧵
