The other night I took the FUNCAP 55 functional capacity questionnaire and it threw up some extremely low scores, placing in the severe, very severe category even though I’m still fairly ambulatory. So when my friend this morning called and asked if I wanted adventure, I balked and begged off…
Bridget was part of a circle of friends that interacted on Twitter for over a year. We all became really close, meeting up in Spaces daily, inboxes. Her passing has broken us, we all miss her so very much and I can’t believe she’s gone, I just can’t. I keep looking if she’ll see my last message. 💔😭

Chronic illness is relentless. It’s literally built into the name.
“Chronic” means we can’t just take a restful weekend and feel “all better”.
It’s day after day of feeling sick, tired and in pain - often while people gaslight you and endlessly ask “are you better yet?”
