Since I was a kid, looking for ways my father might turn things around and be the dad I saw other kids have, in person or on TV, I've had a fascination with redemption arcs, bizarro universes, and heel-face-turns.

Well. A shame. I've liked Targrt for years. But I don't defend shit practices just because I'm a fan. Justification is the mark of a guilty conscience failing to change behavior.

Best thing Sanctuary Cities can do, now, is work towards as much logistical self-sufficiency as we can. The current admin is trying to cut us off and wear us down. The less we depend on external elements, the less leverage they have. Plus its just good long term development. Greentech, hydro...

We're going to need to have serious discussions about building cities designed to survive the world we've created.
The conspiracy angle is that some will profit by that reconstruction, and it's hardly new for that to inspire sabotage to force the market.
