I use Prose now but used to use Frizz Ease and DevaCurl, all are great for curly hair. Use a wide-toothed comb rather than a brush. NEVER use heat without heat protector spray, including blowdry, and if you do, use a diffuser or even the cold setting.

The scrunching motion is key. Curl cream + heavy duty gel mixed together and scrunched into wet hair (I mean WET wet), then scrunched again with a microfiber towel and air dry has given me perfect natural curls for 3+ years. Refresh btwn washes by combing, then dampening and re-scrunching.
