A vaguely pagan, eclectic discordian, nerdy chaote rambling into the void and trying to build a practice.
I did, at least, spruce up my patron's corner of my altar and doodled a label for a mini novena candle for them.

It's a start.

Make your rituals silly, make them fun, make them joyful. Allow Fun into your heart to help you worship as best you can

My evening study book is Condensed Chaos by Phil Hine and my Morning relaxing book is The Moon and Serpent Bumper Book of Magic by Alan Moore and Steve Moore.

Having a consistent routine is key.

Cut off screens an hour or so before bedtime. I use the time for reading and doing my nightly tarot journaling, and keep other lights low to help signal that it is sleepy time to my brain.

Chamomile with honey and milk helps with relaxation. Stir with intention.

I use Moon Phase Calendar to track the moon.

What app do you use for the stars?

This video is what pushed me over the edge and back into the occult about 6 years ago (it was shortly before Imbolc 2019).

Thank you for the sweet reminder :)

I have an obsidian ball, but I've only tried to scry once.

I think it kinda worked? Though I'm still not sure lol.

This.

Magic to gather the reserves needed for mundane action. Ritualizing the mundane to give it some extra oomph.

(Ex: for a job hunt, divination and reflection on what you're looking for, followed by ritualizing sending out however many applications each week until a new job is found)

My understanding is Imbolc is about celebrating the first signs that winter is ending/spring is beginning.

Decorate with early flowers to crop up (snowdrops are a big one, where I am oxalis is more common), and candles for light.

Clean and take stock of what you have and need for the year.

Feast.

For a long time, this was my go-to album for meditation and ritual work.

New moons are more my jam than full moons (which probably means I need to lean into full moon energy more, to get out of my comfort zone, but still...).

I have the memory of a goldfish, but I will try to remember to circle back lol

I am told they do well indoors, but I cannot yet confirm. I guess mine hasn't died since I got it last month, which is a start lol.

Yes! I've burnt quite a few with sigils, a couple always go in my money bowl, and it's a major component in my manifestation oil.

I just picked up a bay sapling as well, so hopefully I'll have home grown leaves in the next year or so 😁
