The original skyline chili recipe has unsweetened chocolate, but the canned stuff now does not. You can always grate a little on top if you miss it.

Forget Albuquerque, why is he torturing Kim Wexler.

Make it a velcro strip and I'm sold!

I'm still seeing a lot of integrators miss providing even basic metrics - downtime, usage, SLA compliance, etc. Customers will always ask for more, but the ability to easily customize that data is important. Not everyone needs the same reporting. #avintheAM #avtweeps.

Something that can actually evaluate the security of AV/IoT devices accurately. Monitoring doesn't fill the big blind spot of not knowing whether a device is secured or compromised, doesn't give us the tools to recognize vulnerabilities and address them. #avtweeps #avintheAM

K-12 education I think is a great market. Schools have decent budgets and need more technology as teaching tools and to reach kids where they are. I think there a lot of cool opportunities for integration and support there. #avintheAM #avtweeps

I mean more that being on those project discussion calls, sometimes hours long, is a time commitment. And to your point, most PMs are over allocated and don't feel like they have the time to be on. 20 projects and you've already lost your entire week to project update calls with no time to work.

TBH, we don't have as many infrastructure requirements any more. We're often in much earlier to spec blocking, conduit, power as a best guess because it's not that complicated any more. We absolutely do NOT need to invent a new PM method. #avtweeps #avintheAM

Get in much earlier. I think it's better to come in partnership with an MEP consultancy because you'll be at the table earlier. #avtweeps #avintheam

I think it's that way because we don't give enough time for our PMs to be part of it. I watch AV folks hop on for their allotted update slot for a project and then leave. Other trades are on the whole time. You learn a lot by being on the entire project call. #avintheAM

This is PM 101 - you build your projects with dependencies, have a risk register, communicate regularly. They also should be waaaaay earlier with those requirements. #avtweeps #avintheam

Not really. Once AV moves out of physical spaces and into digital arenas, I think the commercial AV business loses. We're not suited for software deployments with no hardware. It's still construction until it's not our business any more. #avintheam

When I was there I tested phones (and was not on the phone team). This feels like a PR stunt, they have lots of folks testing already.

I assume machine learning is the AI being referenced, but you have to be explicit.

I learned from film audio that people wildly over estimate the power of tech. If audio is bad, it will be bad but ~*different bad*~ after we filter/pricess it extensively. Rooms still need to be designed soundly. Trying to fix a room by throwing in an AI bit will result in embarrassment. #avimtheam

Sure, but it's also just a waste of technology in general. #avintheam #avtweeps
