Winter wings. ♥️ (I'm editing today so I don't have any fancy words to spare.)

Frozen cake for breakfast? Sounds good to the Crows. Sharp beaks mean full bellies on this 26F/-1C morning.

It's snowing and apparently Crows don't go out to eat in the snow? so here's yesterday's very determined customer to get you through the snowy afternoon.

Menu change at the Crow Cafe! With snow predicted we're switching to a winter menu of puppy food. Bigger pieces for more energy in these dark cold months. So far the breakfast #crow crowd is on board!

Some restaurants need an open sign. At the Crow Cafe we've got this guy, screaming that I've started serving breakfast from the minute I open the doors until the breakfast rush ends.

🎶🎶 Baby Got Back 🎶🎶

They were fluffing up their feathers to defend their spot at the Cafe, but even calm they were still impressively large. Giving Boss crow energy.

The morning rush at the Crow Cafe.

Over the summer I only had one very demanding crow, Karen. Now on a good day we have a rush as the sun rises and on a bad day there are no #crows.

Alt: seven to eight crows swoop down to eat breakfast while cawing loudly. Behind them is the morning sunrise.

A dramatic action shot from today's opening of the Crow Cafe. This was the scene at 6:51, by 6:54 the crows were gone.

(So was the crow chow, but I've restocked. Hopefully we'll get a second seating.)

On a good day, my Crow cafe feeds a bunch of crows and gives me great photos. Today, alas, only 2 crows and no great photos. So here's a classic from way back in September. That's Karen, a regular visitor who doesn't always approve of the service I provide.
