I attended a performance of La La Land live last night! The orchestra was conducted by Justin Hurwitz (the film's composer) himself. Hearing the music live was incredible, especially the jazz sequences. Afterwards, Justin Hurwitz did a meet and greet and I was able to get a couple autographs.

It's been a lot, though satisfying, work revising my very first novel STARPHOENIX. This is the ever dwindling "to do" list before I hit "send" to my publisher. Feels like I'm entering the final stretch!

Despite everything I managed to make some headway on my STARPHOENIX edits. Over the past week I cleared more than 50 spelling issues and over 500 grammar issues.

Something very few have known about me is that I once, many years ago, applied to be a contestant on "Survivor"! I never got a call but I was - and still am - proud of myself for ever even trying. I have my submission video on videotape somewhere. It'd be fun to find and check that out someday 😆
