Since I never read the book, the We Were Liars ending gutted me & I had to tell my husband about it because I knew he’d never watch it. I needed to unload my trauma before I could fall asleep. Not spoiling anything. Just a warning that this is nothing like The Summer I Turned Pretty.

Most embarrassing takeaway from this AI summer reads list debacle is not that there were fake books on it. But that not one editor did a bare minimum fact check. Hell, not even the so-called writer who compiled it thought to question the info. No wonder mainstream media is losing the public’s trust

I’m returning to my hometown library as a published author! Definitely an author milestone to check off the list. PLUS I’m doing my first ever AIRPORT book signing! If you’re in the Ontario, Calif. or Inland Empire area, come by and get a FREE copy of my debut women’s fic novel Big Chicas Don’t Cry.

If the U.S. government is going to take the position that, once removed from the United States, folks can’t be brought back, then it sure seems to me that federal courts should be reflexively and categorically barring *all* removals until they’re 100 percent certain that the removals are lawful.

This book is available on Amazon & people may think I am the author. I’m not! We have no idea if this is an actual real author with a similar name or someone just using a fake name. Unfortunately because of the similarity, the author link is connected to my books. We’re working to figure this out.

In case anyone is wondering, The Life List on Netflix is a good movie and, yes, it’s technically a romance. Although I enjoyed it, there is 1 big thing about the romance storyline that didn’t sit right with me and actually kinda made me mad. But there is an HEA so….

ICE detained Julio Noriega, a 54 year-old US citizen who was born in Chicago, for over 10 hours on January 31st.

He was walking around "Berwyn, Illinois, handing out his resume to local businesses."

They didn't show him a warrant.

They didn't give him paperwork.

And he's now suing.

And Adriana just hit the USA Today Bestseller’s list with Tropical Rebel!!!!!
we're debunking historical romance myths with Adriana Herrera this week. A TROPICAL REBEL GETS THE DUKE is her latest, and it's a terrific romance that puts the fight for reproductive justice front and center.
This week, we talk about historicals, about why everyone seems to think they're dying (spoiler: they're not!), and do some myth busting on perceptions of the historical romance.

All with the help of our friend Adriana Herrera, whose excellent A TROPICAL REBEL GETS THE DUKE is out now.
