I've been working on cleaning up some old #characterdesign work to have everything for each #character on one sheet, what do you think?

A set of character sketches and a turnaround. The text reads: Character Design Process: Kleseh This design was started before some core elements of the story were fleshed out, so the exploration of concepts was incredibly useful for the final design. The final look includes a braid with cultural ties to the character's home country, narratively important rain droplets, and additional consideration for the character's physical needs in Je'vo's fluctuating temperatures and a need for easy movement. Mask's horns match jacket detail Sketches At first I wasn't sure what kind of a character Kleseh would be, so I wanted to explore different trauma responses and how they might affect style choices. Design Mock 1 My first "finished outfit" for Kleseh included elements from several of the previous sketches, but eventually I decided the poncho wasn't practical, and the character lacked cultural influence from Je'vo The poncho would have a built in cooling system that produced a smoke effect A set of character designs and finished drawings, the words read: Character Design Process: Roskae Roskae's tattoos are of a bee and honeycomb pattern, representing her values of community and hard work. Roskae was a challenge, although I knew what her place in the story would be narratively, I wasn't sure what kind of a character she was individually. The design sketches ended up being really useful for developing a lot of the characters in the Dragon's Den, and helped to shape the story. Roskae herself ended up being a bartender who kept an open ear for the goings-on of the city to keep the rebellion informed. She sees people as inherently good, but led by the few inherently evil, thematically shown in her hair color. Her jacket is a highly reflective material that makes surveillance difficult, but to the naked eye appears dark grey.
