Hello! Figured I'd start out by introducing myself and showing of some of my recent work, some of which I'll be posting full-sized soon! I'm so excited to share my art with you all ^w^
Hello! I'm Autem Lux, a disabled nonbinary trans artist! I typically do illustrations of various characters, but also dabble comics and animation! I'm currently learning 3d modeling as well. My DMs are open for commission info or just to say hi! I can be found on kofi, Instagram, X, Pay Pal and venmo! There is a drawing of Autem in an automatic wheelchair, waving at the viewer. They have short purple hair, and wear a T-shirt with their logo, which is a frog wearing a mushroom hat.

I keep hearing that artists have to keep creating, to preserve hope, to make people want to carry on…

…But that is really hard to do when you scrape the bottom of the barrel yourself. Can't pass on happiness if you barely have enough to carry yourself through the day.

Burnout is clinically understood as a combo of 6 factors—work overload, lack of control, insufficient rewards, breakdown in community, absence of fairness, & value conflicts—and only a fraction of it is under your control. Burnout is a systemic problem, so be kind to yourself and hard on the system.

Hey gang I've had to learn recently that the whole "burning out" thing is real so if you find yourself being panicked every waking second that you're not working on something, despite those seconds being very rare, you should maybe listen to the signals and take an intentional break before you crash

So far I'm having a lot of fun with my attacks this year! Letting myself relax and work on attacks when I want to and get inspiration for them (instead of trying to do 1/day and beating myself up when I can't keep up) is, ✨shocker✨ doing my mental health wonders #artfight #teamcrystals
