After my pcp giving it to me everyday for 11 months and feeling so so fucking sick coming off of it. But I did it! Never taking it again

I look surprisingly angry too but I promise I’m happy partly because I have one more taper before I’m off this anti-anxiety medicine

I have a paper in frontiers, we had a good experience. I wasn’t lead author, so I now try to see how there can be good papers in bad journals and bad papers in good journals, giving grace😩

But working with a psychiatrist and therapist and I’m at a quarter of my dose and getting through it. Almost off it completely:)

Ugh Alex it’s been so so bad. It’s a benzo and I got prescribed it because I got robbed, then it got prescribed for me for way too long. 11 months with no check ins. And now coming off it, I have so much gastro stuff which is both embarrassing and uncomfortable

And I feel silly complaining and I want to stop it but you can literally die if you don’t taper off correctly… which I would’ve loved to know beforehand

Well, I’m a post doc in Danny’s lab but I think our *overall* expertise would be birds, agriculture, landscape ecology

Actually I think well organized, well communicated boycotts with clear demands to what leads to an end are much more successful than “don’t anything, but buy your supplies the day before” (read: spending the same amount of money anyways)
