We should eliminate Roth IRA's where you create tax free retirement accounts from after tax income & stick to only IRA's & 401 Ks where withdrawals are taxed. Govt gets benefit of higher taxes on growth of these accounts versus the cost of T-bills issued to carry the federal debt they create.

Musk is an engineer. Finding waste and fraud in weapons procurement is definitely in his wheel house but since republicans are in the pocket of all these guys he didn't touch or even talk about reducing waste in procurement. SImply disgusting.

Next time someone gets off on a technicality they too can say they were completely exonerated. It was a cheap shot but the charges did have merit and since he is one of those people that is a stickler for the law I'm soory he didn't have to go to trial.

Doesn't Paramount need some kind of FCC approval for an acquisition it wants to make? Wouldn't be surprised if they reverse the decision once they get the appoval they are looking for.

my numbers are off. You can get 400 kwh per year of electricity from a 1 square meter panel and it takes 75 billion square meters or 30,000 square miles of panels to generate global demand of 30,000 twh. Typically coverage is 30% meaning you need 100,000 square miles of land

You can generate about 3,000 GWH of electricity on a square mile of land. To generate the 30,000 TWH your graph indicates is the current global demand would require about 10,000 square miles of land or around 0.3% of the total land area of the USA.

In their opinion of course the republicans hinted that there would be exceptions to their nationwide injunction ruling, particularly if a state brings forth a suit. The picture I am seeing is no nationwide injunctions if it is something that effects the little guy.

For the last 40 years the republicans have pushed tax cuts with this result in mind. The rest of us were naive to think that this isn't what they had in mind all along.

The Bush and Trump tax cuts were unaffordable. You can keep the low rates on the bottom 80% but the top 20% need to pay more in taxes.
