Dad, thx for your service.

The typical household in Los Angeles now pays on average $1,223 a year MORE for these services than before Mayor Bass took office.

What would you do with an extra $1,223 per year? That’s how much the average family’s electricity, trash, sewage, and water bills have gone up under Mayor Bass.

Have you ever heard of the “adjustment factor”? It means City Hall is raising your bills and they won’t tell you why.

We need an honest conversation about where every dollar goes -- and leadership that puts people first.

Los Angeles is a special place, but every day it's becoming less affordable. People are paying $1,223 more each year for water, electricity, sewer and trash collection under Mayor Bass.

Delighted to celebrate the 15th anniversary of the beautiful Soraya on the campus of CSUN and the life and works of Quincy Jones last night. I was honored to work with Quincy through his support for Prop 28, which expanded arts and music education in CA public schools.

I’m visiting every community in Los Angeles to hear directly from you and to talk about how we can get LA back on track. We started yesterday in San Pedro. Where should we go next?

I proudly raised my family in Los Angeles, and share the values of our city. Our leadership needs to reflect those values. Read more about my plan to get L.A. back on track at AustinForLA.com

Proud to kick off our campaign in beautiful San Pedro today!

We need the facts. The City is spending billions on homelessness yet the RAND study suggests no progress is being made. The Mayor is blocking the elected Controller from auditing the City’s efforts. We need an immediate audit to tell us how much is being spent, on what, & whether it’s having impact.
