Adjustment factors have grown so much in the past few years 71% of your electrical bill and 83% of your water bill.

As mayor, I’m going to bring transparency to all of this and I’m going to make sure every dollar is accounted for.

How? In LA, the prices you pay for water & electricity are set by the city council and the mayor…

Yet published rates haven’t gone up in years.

Instead, all of the increases have come from hidden “adjustment factors.”

This purchase was made with public funds and required approval by City Hall. City officials must have known about this for quite some time before the deal was done.
