The web agent is a must listen in my opinion. “Web” imo standing for an AI agent being able to interface with the internet as a human would.

In comparison, yes. There isn’t as many new gadgets/software for operations.
Personally, if I had the choice I would be a swe. Though, for me cloud engineering was the opportunity for me to get out of help desk.

Then: look at getting AWS associate architect and terraform, CKAD, or some other specialized certification. Those should get you enough to be a jr or lie and get into a mid level role that is underpaid.
