Really not sure what’s happened to Axios in the last six months. It increasingly just uncritically spouts White House talking points. It didn’t used to be this way. I wonder what could have changed?

I loved that book back in college. I wanted to be part of that world, full of optimism and excitement for a future where we could make the world a better place and get rich. I hate the idea that the characters would turn out the way you've described but I suspect you've pretty much nailed it.
