With the horror genre being the exception to your point, because schools are scary as well as boring. I've not talked to a single person who's not had school related nightmares.

I like the sentiment, but I worry about sustainability. In general the more I consume creative works, the more my creative brain engages the more ideas I get to create. I've noticed over the years that the creative block only comes if I've not consumed enough creativity.

I see. You should have used a minion image in your announcement. It would have flown under their radar😁

The secret is to find a song to scream along with. They will be less likely to call if all they can do is make a noise complaint.

The new campaign is 90s urban fantasy and the party made their own taco pizza; tacobell over a pizzahut cheese pizza.

Yes, all but one are stoners, why do you ask?

This was in the campaign that ended a couple of months ago, but the delicacy was Behir. It's a greyish meat that has some electric discharge as you chew it, a pop rocks feel in the mouth. It was also one of those love it or loath it sort of dishes. The party decided they loved it.

I am not going to lie, beach episodes are some of my favorite episodes. Sometimes all you need is shenanigans and no stakes but those on the BBQ

I have a canceled-game game. Something we can play with no prep. It's a zombie survival so every session is "find supplies" and we send out teams of the players that did show up. Every encounter is random from a table. No plot but lots of fun character and RP driven stories.

It's weird, I agree with you. But then we had a hard time getting our oldest to read. Tried everything age appropriate including comics. Finally we handed him a copy of Lord of The Flies which I did not think was age appropriate at all, but it was desperation. And it clicked. Been reading ever since

It probably was. I am really bad at remembering that stuff and it's been a while. Oh btw, if you enjoy this sort of thing, have you looked at Horns of Fear? Similar sort of game, a bit shorter as I recall, but just as good.

There's a few really good indy ones around. They even look like they come from the same era. Which is a plus in my book.

Oh, I have it so not in the running, I just want to say it's well worth it! Pick this up when you have the chance.

This is where why they say "hurt people hurt people".
In their eyes, they are taking power back. They don't realize all they do is keep the trauma train running.

I must respectfully disagree with "accidental Renaissance". To me this is "accidental De Stijl" it reminds me of Mondrian, and I'd name it "composition with concrete, tarmac and despair" (a play on composition with red, blue and yellow)

The more I look at this picture the more I love it. Who took it and where can I see more of their work?
