My 90s Urban Fantasy campaign has a dragon problem. Making them extinct seems the easiest, but what if they are not? What would a dragon hoard in modern(ish) times? Paper money? creditcards? Beanie Babies? (since it's the 90s and all)

I was checking in on the Gävle Goat, which has survived to Christmas, and YouTube understood I wanted something fiery. So it gave me a live feed of the Kilauea Volcano. Which led to a lovely chat and now I am deep diving into Menehune. ❤️

Oh no. Aruba will not have any "pagaras" for sale this year. The shipments from China never arrived. That leaves a huge hole in our new years celebrations. Pagaras are set off twice on the 31st. Companies at noon, and families at midnight. See video if you're confused.

I've got zombies on my mind. Of the two main types of zombies to come out of "Night of the Living Dead", the Russo zombie is arguably more terrifying than the Romero zombie. Which might be why it became the comic relief zombie. Playing a Russo zombie straight will becomes too bleak even for zombies

I am a hard rock/metal fan. My eldest leans towards punk and emo. Grandparents play 60s and 70s folk and rock.
Where was my youngest (13) exposed to Frank Sinatra to the point he knows basically all the words to "My Way"? Peers?
I'm not mad at it, just baffled.

Elections in Aruba tomorrow, my current home. And it completely slipped my mind that they stop selling alcohol when elections come around here. So no wine for me on Friday night. Which isn't a big deal, I'm just annoyed the reason for it is people can't be civilized about politics.

Entertainment is so very objective. So many times I hear someone talking about a movie, series or game and I am left wondering if we experienced the same piece of entertainment. I've watched movies where I was impressed with the director trying to do a thing, only to find out the movie was loathed

My very best gaming memory was booting up Mechwarrior. Joystick in my right hand for aiming and firing, throttle lever in my left hand for speed, feet on the rudder control panel for the torso twist. Immersion never reached those levels again.

My 13 year old just pitched me a #DnD campaign he called "cheater's D&D". The party is stuck in the hells, trying to make their way back to the material plane. They should make changes to their charactersheet at the start of each session and if the DM doesn't catch on, those changes become permanent

My new #DnD campaign is set in the mid 90s. So there's some technology, but the players don't have the internet in their pockets just yet. I've started thinking of the setting as pre-apocalyptic. It should be a thing. Not only is it plain anxiety free fun, if needed I could introduce an apocalypse
