I was in Maryborough too! Agree, it's bad there, but I think it's better following that work a year or two ago (used to stay in Maryborough visiting Mum).

Aside from the red arrow, most drivers at this site have learnt to look back for bikes. But there are incidents now and then. Those two flex posts were put in a while ago to reduce the curve radius a bit, slow drivers down.
