There are reasons why security and 'handlers' exist at functions that include celebrities (and as much as some may argue, streamers do possess a modicum of 'celebrity'). It might behoove Twitch to learn how others manage; having established security and incident protocol is non-negotiable.

How could a face scan determine anything: I've known people in their thirties who looked like they were teens, and teens who looked like they were in their twenties. This is ridiculous.

Having many strangers follow you and your work can be isolating for many reasons. I always feel sympathy for those who acquire any modicum of celebrity.

I'm not saying self-styled journalists should probably learn a bit about what they're reporting on before they get a job that covers it... but it could help -- their editors could certainly be more discerning.
