The temperature dropped to 1.9C so I wasn't expecting much but got 6 moths of 5 species. 2 Hebrew Character and singles of Early Tooth-striped, Common Pug, Double-striped Pug and Chestnut. Aviemore, VC95. #MothsMatter #GMS

5 moths of 4 species in the trap this morning, not bad with a low temperature of 3.1c, Aviemore, VC95. Rannoch Sprawler, 2 Hebrew Character, Clouded Drab and Yellow Horned.

Aviemore VC95, low of 3.9c, only 2 moths, but one was a Rannoch Sprawler. The other one was a Hebrew Character

Loads of Fieldfare in the yellow-berried Rowan in my garden this morning and even more in the trees nearby. Must be a couple of hundred between here and the nearby woodland.
