I am so excited about this good news about Haiti from @earthspark.bsky.social. Jason (@jkerwin.bsky.social) and I had the pleasure to visit the first microgrid they built in Haiti and were very impressed. #microgrid

Some personal news: we’re moving to Seattle! We will both be starting new tenured positions at UW Seattle in the fall—I’ll be in Sociology and @jkerwin.bsky.social will be in Econ.

I am so excited to join a great group of demographers and sociologists at UW. Thankful for an amazing 10 years at UMN.

Can someone point me to a figure in a journal or website showing age-adjusted COVID-19 cases by year from 2020-2022?

Some thing like the first panel in the figure below but instead of cumulative data, I would love to see the figure by year. Thanks.

I had a fantastic time at Penn State this week. I was sorry to miss IAPHS conference but had the opportunity to reconnect with colleagues and meet some new potential collaborators. The ice cream at the creamery was an added bonus.
